Radamis II |
|
The H.S. Radamis II Movenpick Nile Cruiser is our second, and latest
ship having set sail in February 2000. It measures 72.3 meters long by
13.8 meters wide and 11.8 meters high (approximately four decks),
weighs approximately 600 tons and has a draught (depth under the water
line) of only 1.48 meters. The ship includes 80 cabins, including 6
suites and for the first time, two special suites with a large
floor-to-ceiling oval window allowing you to see the Nile and the
sites as you sail away. |

Our basic rooms are approximately 20 meters square and are famous for
being some of the most comfortable and spacious on the Nile. Some of
our key features include: a beautiful panoramic window that allows
guests to view the Nile while lying on their bed; a full bathroom
including a bathtub (available in all our rooms), hairdryer and
shaving socket; in addition to a 20 inch television and a mini-bar. |
The amenities on the cruise include a 900 meters square sundeck (level
5), a main restaurant that offers our guests a varied mix of menus and
cuisines (level C), all up to the gourmet Movenpick standards, three
bars (one perfect for private meetings on level D) and a lounge/disco
that offers nightly music, drinks and events (level B). Radamis II is
special because it has almost 83% of our rooms on the top two decks
and includes two GSM phone lines which allow you to phone or fax from
your room while sailing. |
|
Our cruises are also famous for our water system. Unlike other
cruises, our boilers and water tanks are designed to make sure that
all our clients will always have hot and cold water regardless of how
many people are on board. Our purification system is the best on the
Nile, taking in water from the river and passing it through two sand
filters, two carbon filters, an ultra-violet filter, and a
microbiology filter to give you pure, clean water. |
|
The trip includes a visit to all the main sites from Luxor to Aswan
with an English-speaking guide. However, alternative languages,
private guides. |
