Christmas And New Year In Egypt
Day 1: Cairo 12/23/2007
Arrival in Cairo international airport, Meet & Assist at the airport and After going through Immigration, Baggage Claim and Customs, Transfer to the hotel en route, (the unknown soldiers and the late President Saddat tomb), Then Transfer to the resort, Free time to rest and to enjoy the beautiful resort facilities, 6 PM pick from the hotel for Dinner & Show Nile Cruise on the Nile River at night with a city view at night including Full course dinner buffet served onboard, Folklore entertainment with music and dancers and a Belly dancer show then back to the hotel for an overnight.
Day 2: Cairo 12/24/2007
Start the day with a Full Luxury breakfast then followed by a visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx that large statue which is one of the most famous monuments in the whole world, lunch in a restaurant by the pyramids area followed by a visit to Memphis and Sakkara where you see the earliest form of pyramid, the step then transfer to the hotel for overnight.
Day 3: Cairo Aswan 12/25/2007
Early morning, transfer to the airport to board the domestic Egypt Air Flight to Aswan, meet and assist in the Aswan airport and transfer to Abu-Simbel where you will visit a fascinating temple well known as one of the places on the top priority list for anyone visiting Egypt, after the tour fly back to Aswan airport and transfer to the cruise line for check in and lunch, rest of the day is a break and enjoy Aswan, then dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Aswan / Kom Ombo / Edfu 12/26/2007
After breakfast visit
the High Dam and the temple of Philae. Lunch and after noon sail
to Kom Ombo
Day 5: Edfu-Luxor 12/27/2007
A.M. visit the temple of Horus, the Nile best preserved major temple in Egypt. The temple is dedicated to the falcon god Horus and was built over a 180-year period from 237 BC to 57 BC. PM. Sail to Esna. Cross the lock and sail to Luxor and overnight.
Day 6: Luxor 12/28/2007
Cross to the West Bank.
Day 7: Luxor Cairo 12/29/2007
Disembarkation after
breakfast. Then visit
Luxor East Bank. The temple of Luxor and the temple of Karnak, This group of
temples was built over a period of approximately 1,500 years. Some of the
most important additions made by Thutmose III, who ruled Egypt during the
1400s BC. Hieroglyphs discovered on the temple walls record the events of
Thutmose's numerous military campaigns in Asia and Africa, by which he
greatly expanded the Egyptian empire.
Day 8: Cairo 12/30/2007
After breakfast a full day
tour to the Egyptian Museum where you find the greatest Collections of
Egyptian antiquities in the world and the home of King TUT treasures. Lunch
at restaurant over looking the Nile then visit the historical old Cairo, The
hanging church, and Ben Azer Synagogue
Day 9: Cairo Alexandria Cairo 12/31/2007
Breakfast at the hotel,
visit Quitbey Citadel & Greco-Roman Museum. this 21 rooms museum contain
about 40,000 valuable relics dating from as early as the 3rd century B.C
Day 10: Cairo 01/01/2008
Breakfast then transfer to the airport for a departure.
