Day 01: IZMIR

 

Arrive at Izmir Airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Overnight in Izmir.

 

Day 02: PERGAMUM

 

Drive along the Aegean coast to ancient Pergamum, the city where parchment was invented.

Visit Asclepion, the most famous medical center of the ancient world and visit Acropolis with its library, theatre, royal palaces, Zeus Altar. Return to Izmir.

Overnight in Izmir (B,L).

 

Day 03: EPHESUS



 After breakfast departure for Ephesus, one of the most impressive and well-preserved archaeological sites in the world.

Spend the morning strolling through the streets, temples and fountains of this ancient metropolis. After lunch visit the Archaeological Museum, the Basilica of St.John, where the apostale is burried and the House of Virgin Mary, where it is believed that she has spent her last days.

Return to Izmir airport for your flight back. (B,L).
